
Feral Pigeons
The feral pigeon has adapted to life in an
urban environment and its
reliance on man for food has led to it becoming a serious pest.
The bird is about 33cm long and weighs on average 330g. The colour
of the plumage varies.
Control:
There are several methods available for controlling pigeons and preventing
flocks from settling, including wiring, netting, spiking, trapping
and night shoots (flock reduction).
